Manor Farm, Sittingbourne

May 2023 - Reserved Matters Planning Permission granted for 50 dwellings at Manor Farm, Sittingbourne on behalf of Abbey Homes. The scheme provides a range of detached and semi-detached house types, together with Public Open Space and a diverted Public Right of Way. We provided both Architectural and Town Planning services on this project and are delighted to see it move forward.

Bishop Stortford North, Herts

March 2023 - Planning Approval secured on behalf of Vistry Homes for 21 dwellings on Parcel B30 of the Western Neighbourhood of the Bishops Stortford North Major Development. This scheme forms part of the ‘gateway’ in to this part of the overall scheme and we worked closely with our client and the Local Authority to achieve a suitable design.

Whitfield, Kent

March 2023 - Planning Approval gained for a Section 73 Application at Whitfield, Kent for Abbey Homes to re-plan a previously approved area with 27 different house types. Abbey purchased this site with Planning Permission already in place but wanted to introduce some different house types to the scheme and we helped them achieve this via the Section 73 Approval method.

Bishop Stortford North, Herts

March 2023 - Reserved Matters Planning Approval secured for 78 dwellings on parcels L and M of the Bishops Stortford North Major Development on behalf of Tilia Homes. The scheme delivers 51 Private dwellings and 27 Affordable dwellings in a range of sizes from 1 bedroom apartments to 4 bedroom houses. These parcels are located at the north western end of the Eastern Neighbourhood and will be some of the first areas that are seen on entering this phase. The Eastern neighbourhood introduces a more contemporary vernacular and will be delivered by a consortium consisting of Tilia Homes, Vistry Homes, Taylor Wimpy and Persimmon.

Filbert Close, Hatfield

May 2023 - Reserved Matters Planning Approval gained for 39 dwellings off Filbert Close, Hatfield on behalf of Abbey Homes. The site posed a number of challenging constraints but our designers and Town Planners worked closely with Abbey, the Local Authority and other stakeholders to produce a successful scheme.

Crowborough, East Sussex

March 2023 - Planning Approval secured for Phase 3 of the Crowborough development on behalf of Riverdale Developments. The scheme consists of 71 dwellings on land adjoining earlier phases that gained approval in the last couple of years. We are pleased to have provided both Architectural and Town planning services throughout this application.

Iwade, Sittingbourne

February 2023 - A new Planning Application has been submitted for 20 new homes in Iwade, Sittingbourne on behalf of Riverdale Developments. The scheme sits on a piece of undeveloped land within a recent development and consists of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom properties, including Affordable and Private Tenures.

Houghton Regis, Bedfordhsire

December 2022 - Reserved Matters Planning Application prepared and submitted on behalf of Barratt Homes for 188 new dwellings on Parcels 3 and 4 of the Houghton Regis North Major Development Area. This is the second Phase of this project that we have been involved with Barratt on after the success of the previous Application a while ago. CMYK were retained for both Architectural and Town Planning services and have worked closely with Barratt, the Local Authority, other Consultants and Barton Willmore in order to design a scheme that meets the aspirations of the Design Code and all parties.

Wixams, Bedfordshire

December 2022 - Planning Approval granted for 232 dwellings at Village 3 of the Wixams Major Development Area on behalf of Abbey Homes. The scheme was designed in accordance with a detailed Design Code that included the requirement for different character areas and different typologies. CMYK acted as the Designers and also provided Town planning services and are delighted to report that Approval was secured via Delegated Powers (meaning that it did not have to go in front of a Planning Committee).

Cross Road, Walmer

December 2022 - Reserved Matters Planning Consent granted at committee for 100 new dwellings on behalf of Abbey Homes. The scheme provides 30 Affordable homes and 70 Private dwellings, together with a generous amount of Public Open Space that features equipped play areas, informal space and a community orchard.
