Sherford New Town

December 2021 - We are pleased to announce that Reserved Matters Planning Approval has been secured for 259 new homes on Phase 2D of the Major Development Area known as ‘Sherford’ in the South West on behalf of our client, Cannon and Kirk. This latest phase of the overall development sees the character change from the more traditional and formal vernacular established in earlier phases and introduces a modern interpretation of a typical Devon vernacular. CMYK are also acting on behalf of the overall consortium as Master Town Planners for the whole project consisting of circa 5,500 new homes, infrastructure, schools, employment opportunities, retail and commercial facilities, open space and sports facilities.

October 2021 - We have secured a Section 73 approval to re-imagine 50 residential apartments in Wembley. Originally an office building, we were engaged by Abbey New Homes to enhance an existing planning permission for apartments into a modern design, more aligned with contemporary living.

A number of issues with the original permission made this a particularly challenging project, but extensive work by the design team and liaison with the Local Authority proved successful.
