Demolition of former egg packing plant and the construction 21 houses, 4 employment units and allotments. The site is within the hamlet of Gubblecote, 1 mile to the north west of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is bounded to the north, east and west by open land.

Client - Riverdale

Former town fairway golf and driving range 3 miles south of Crawley town centre in Pease Pottage. Comprising of 95 dwellings in total with a 30% affordable provision. The scheme was submitted as an outline application but was refused on the single reason of not being in a sustainable location.

We submitted and managed a public inquiry appeal including coordinating the proofs of evidence and appearing as expert witness, directly instructing counsel. The appeal was won and we subsequently oversaw the submission of the reserved matters application which was approved.
