CMYK were engaged by Redrow to secure Reserved Matters Approval for 200 homes on the outskirts of Cottenham in Cambridgeshire.

The development was designed to integrate new housing within a landscape lead setting that featured generous amounts of Public Open Space. We worked closely with our client and other stakeholders to design a scheme that includes a new community woodland, formal play areas, informal open space, a linear park, a fitness trail, green corridors, a community orchard and a protected area of archaeological importance.

A range of dwellings were proposed, using Redrow’s award winning house types and include both private and affordable tenures. We created subtly different character areas within the scheme by the use of careful detailing, a cohesive palette of materials and the integration of landscape features.

The scheme is now fully complete, occupied and looks fabulous.
